DAVID DIXON
Profile
Born in Bridgwater, England in 1977, David has had a long association with Enmore Park Golf Club, starting to play golf on the course at the age of 12, inspired by Nick Faldo.
A highly impressive amateur career saw David representing his country and winning individual competitions including the Lytham Trophy, the Midlands Amateur, the West of England Matchplay and the South African Amateur.
The highlight of this illustrious series of amateur performances came in 2001 when David was thrust into the international spotlight by capturing the Silver Medal in the Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Anne’s; awarded to the leading amateur.
Finishing in a tie for 30th with Phil Mickelson, Justin Rose and Stewart Cink, David showed his ability to perform in the most high-pressured environment alongside some of the greatest players in the game.

Playing History
2007
David came through Qualifying School’s Final Stage to return to the European Tour.
2008
After Qualifying School, David wasted no time in making an impression, by finishing joint sixth in the 2008 Alfred Dunhill Championship, equaling his best performance on the European Tour in his first start of the new season.
His good form continued during the 2008 season and David secured his maiden European Tour title with victory at the Saint Omer Open. Fending off strong competition from Sweden’s Christian Nillson and Scotland’s Steven O’Hara.
2009
In 2009, David capitalised on this success by achieving top ten finishes in the Volvo China Open, the Joburg Open and the UBS Hong Kong Open in an impressively consistent season that saw him retain his tour card for the 2010 season.
2011
In December 2011, David was in tremendous form as he triumphed at the 2012 Tour Qualifying School at PGA Catalunya Resort. A closing round of 69 gave David the victory with a 21 under par aggregate total which was enough to secure a one shot victory over his compatriot Sam Hutsby, with two more Englishmen, Andy Sullivan and Richard Bland, rounding out the top four on 19 under and 18 under par respectively.
2013

NEXT STEPS
The future...
The past has provided the essential building blocks but this 2017 season is what its all about and its sure to be a very exciting season ahead.
David will be playing both Challenge tour and European Tour this year.
He has made significant changes now since missing out on his full European Tour card and intends on putting this right, one being going back to Mizuno who welcomed him back on board and are fully supporting him.
He now has Strength and Conditioning coach Ben from You Cubed Fitness and Performance.
Damore Solution UK providing him with all the right vitamin’s and diet advice.
His team has only just come into strengh adding Alister Fordyce his caddy along with ex european tour player John Bickerton.
